RECLAIMED WOOD GUESTROOM

The idea behind this project was to maximize storage, have a place for guests to stay, and have an office space all within a 9'x9' space. The client also wanted to use reclaimed wood, so we worked with some of our suppliers and sourced Douglas Fir pilings from the San Francisco Transbay Terminal. We had this wood re-sawn and used it for all of the doors, murphy bed paneling, and desk top. The end result was a rustic feeling, fully functional, multi-use space. This project included frameless cabinets with Baltic Birch ply interiors, and Transbay Douglas Fir exteriors with concealed euro style hinges.
